| Apart from a Cinema trip
and dinner, we have held meetings on a variety of topics,
for instance at one meeting we discussed the all party
autism group manifesto, which seems nothing more than a
big wish list, with no money behind it, nonenetheless it
is something we can press local politicians on, to ask
what they are doing about it. The manifesto can be read in full here At another meeting Janet Taylor from Dyspraxia Adult Action gave a workshop about the social model of our conditions that says that it is not what we are that disables us but what society outside either does or does not do that is important. |
